The Author

I’m a freelance journalist based primarily out Toronto, Canada, though I’m currently a happy wanderer without a home. My day-to-day work appears in Canadian magazines and newspapers like This Magazine, The Walrus, The National Post, The Toronto Star, Reader’s Digest, Vancouver Magazine and Toronto Life, and a few American ones, like Utne Reader. Like many of the movements currently underway in the the United States and around the world, I imagine the vision for this project will crystalise as I go. Rule number one: no secondary sources.
