A Winter of Discontent

In recent months and years, Americans from across the political spectrum have taken to the streets to voice concerns about a system of government they believe no longer serves the common good. I’m travelling across the country from November 15 to February 15 to listen to the voices of those concerned enough with the status quo to take action, be they occupiers, Tea Partiers, or whoever else wants to talk. By travelling from coast to coast and chronicling the first-person histories, opinions, and desires of those who are currently speaking out, and by conversing with those who have done so in the past, I hope to gain a better understanding of the individual motivations of those currently struggling for change.
